Miss Kendra A. Davis
I love teaching and helping young children. Education is a key to success. I believe everyone can learn. My goal in life is to help others be the best they can be. I enjoy making learning fun. I try to learn something new every day.
I am a 1991 graduate of Warren County High School in Warrenton, North Carolina. I also received my Bachelor of Arts (1995) and Master (2000) Degrees in Elementary Education from North Carolina Central University. I am currently pursuing a degree in School Administration from Elizabeth City State University. In 2005, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. My certificate area is Early Childhood – Generalist. I taught at Northside Elementary School for 19 years. I am grateful for the opportunity to come to the elementary school I attended as a child, Mariam Boyd Elementary School, to teach first grade.
My parents, Felton and Constance Davis, are retired Warren County School teachers. I have four brothers, Adrian (deceased), Quintin (Sylvia), Daryl (Shauna), and Nolan (Jamie). I have five nephews and three nieces. I really enjoy cooking, music, watching sports, traveling, and spending time with family. I am a member of Spring Green Baptist Church where I sing in the choir, usher, a member of the missionary circle, and am the Christian Education director. I also am a member of Rho Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Warren County Volunteer Leaders’ Association, and Warren County –North Carolina Association of Educators.
